How to Handle Judgy Strangers

Jilly and I, wandering Target at 9 AM:

Jilly – High pitched excited squeeling for no particular reason.

Stranger – Staring. Judging.

Me – “Jilly, are you drunk again? I told you, no hard liquor before 10.”

Stranger – Appalled.

Jilly – Delighted.

Me – Winning.
